Dogs must be under control and kept on a lead at all times.
No more than one dog per handler will be permitted in the Show Rings and Agility Ring.
Persons taking part in the event do so at their own risk. Madehurst Cricket Club and St Mary Magdalene church, its sponsors, contractors and agents will not be liable in any way for injury, loss, damage or death that might occur as a result of participation in this event, unless by negligence on their part.
No dog shall be allowed to participate if an inappropriate training device is being used on it. This includes electric shock collars, prong collars, choke chains, half check chains and spray collars.
Only well socialised dogs (friendly towards dogs, people & children) are welcome at the event. The behaviour of your dog is your responsibility.
All dogs attending the event must be up to date with vaccines and must not be in season.
Please be a responsible dog owner and clean up after your dog.
All litter should be disposed of in the bins provided.
Dogs should be healthy and able to take part in the event.
Owners should be aware of the signs of heat stress. Some dogs are more prone than others e.g. those with short, flat faces, overweight, old, young & dogs with thick coats. If any dog starts to display signs of stress during the event they should be removed immediately and a member of the event team informed.
A photographer will be taking pictures of the event and you/your children/dogs may be included, either intentionally or unintentionally, in posed and background shots. Please be aware that photographs taken on the day may be kept in Madehurst Cricket Club and St Mary Magdalene church archives and/or used for publicity purposes.
Dogs with docked tails will not be eligible for entry into the dog show unless they have a vet's certificate.
Dogs should be transported safely and securely to and from the event and must not be left unattended in vehicles during this event.
Dogs should have a collar and a tag with their name and address and ideally a number on which the owner can be contacted.
Participants should wear appropriate shoes and clothing for the day.
Water will be available for dogs during the event.
Madehurst Cricket Club and St Mary Magdalene church cannot accept responsibility for personal effects.
Any rules or instructions given by event officials must be adhered to.
Madehurst Cricket Club and St Mary Magdalene church reserves the right to refuse or cancel registrations or alter the date, time and/or venue and format of the event without notice. Any liability to the participant will be limited to the registration fee. Registration fees are non-refundable if the event has to be cancelled or postponed due to circumstances outside the our control.
As part of the registration process you will be asked to provide personal details, this information will be used for the purpose of this event only and will not be used for future marketing opportunities or passed to third parties.
Madehurst Cricket Club and St Mary Magdalene church does not accept any responsibility or liability for the content or accuracy of third party advertisements in the event programme. Third party advertisements, stalls and sponsors are not endorsements or recommendations by the Madehurst Cricket Club and St Mary Magdalene church of the third party or their goods or services.
